Winter ‘Buch Lineup

We Wish You a Merry ‘Buch-mas! 

It’s that most wonderful time of the year. You know, the one with all the holiday cheer. That time for caroling (do people still do this?), hot cocoa drinking, and gift giving… so much gift giving. 

For some of us, winter isn’t so jolly. It’s a time of shoveling and dodging that elusive black ice. Sometimes it’s a struggle to stay warm when the heat bill is just too darn high, and the cost of those presents does add up. I admit it; I can be a Grinch, and my partner – a real Scrooge. It’s not always a wonderful time of year. 

Despite the ups and downs of the winter holiday season, we still find things to look forward to, give thanks to, and celebrate the new year with. Whether those things are the hobbies and activities we find joy in doing, or the food & drink that raises our spirits up. They could be the friends we’ve made along the way, or the family members we cherish and are so close with. They can even be a stranger you just so happen to be in the same time and the same place as. 

Here at Bucha Bros, LLC, we had to put our heads together to come up with some unique flavors that echo winter while paying attention to quality, demand, and availability. We’re very excited to reveal what we have in store this holiday season! 

Merry Mint-mas! 

For our first holiday flavor, we have Merry Mint-mas. We all know mint is a prominent winter flavor, however, we found that we weren’t looking for that bold peppermint taste. We aimed for a rather smooth mint taste, so we chose to experiment with organic spearmint, and loved it! We have also decided to add the organic herbs rosemary and sage; two herbs that pair very well with mint, making a delicious herbal ‘Buch. It’s a flavor that really works year round, but we chose to make it a winter special. 

For the label design, we thought that a light green would be the most appropriate, however we did not want it to look too similar to our Cinnamon Apple Orchard Autumn flavor. So we played around with it a bit. We laughed, cried, argued, and finally came up with a simple design that brings flair to our logo by adding some simple stripes, while still making it readable. We hope you like looking at it and encourage taking pictures with it to post on social media!

Candied Orange Vanilla! 

For our second flavor in the trio lineup, we decided to go with Candied Orange Vanilla. Like a combination of orange vanilla soda pop and an orange creamsicle, this citrusy flavored kombucha pairs very well with watching an orange winter sunrise… okay, we haven’t actually tried watching the sunrise and drinking kombucha simultaneously, however we think it sounds like a fun idea! Did we mention it’s made with organic orange and vanilla? 

We originally tried cranberry orange, however we found that the flavors work better as a pastry rather than a flavored kombucha. The label design for this was pretty clever. It was crafted by Eddie’s wife Emma! What kind of design could go well with an orange flavor you ask? One that is clearly a dark enough orange to read while also dawning stripes like the rind of an orange sliced in half! Absolute genius!

Cran Apple Punch! 

For our third flavor, we have decided to bring Cran Apple Punch to the lineup. Another reason why we didn’t do an orange cranberry flavor was because we crafted this masterpiece of a flavor. Spiced with organic cinnamon, organic candied ginger, organic clove, organic apple, and cranberry juices; this ‘buch is certain to be a winter favorite. If you have ever had the luxury of trying a spiced cranberry apple cocktail, sangria, or grog, you already know how great of a winter flavor this is. 

For the label, we have decided to go with a cranberry red color, however to keep the theme of stripes within our fancy logo, we have decided to use a different type of stripe design to go through the center without compromising the readability of the logo.

When Will They be Around?
