Springtime
Spring is finally upon us. Here at Bucha Bros LLC, we hope everyone has had a decent start to their 2025. While some of us have already called it quits on our new year’s resolutions, others have been committed to making positive change in their lives.
At Bucha Bros, change is constant for us. Change brings on new challenges but can also help us grow as a business and better serve our awesome customers.
Now, what is so unique about Spring? The frigid cold is no more, and the snow has melted away. It’s a time of renewal and new beginnings. Animals come out of hibernation to live their lives on full display for us to admire (looking at you bird watchers out there), and the flowers start to bloom with their alluring colors and pleasant fragrances.
So why not start a garden, fill the bird feeder, and enjoy the Spring breeze? I (Brewmaster Ryan) love to take in the crisp Spring air, but the allergies come at me with a vengeance. And perhaps having a garden is too much for you, or maybe you just don’t care for birds occupying your yard, and that’s ok. Spring is a good time as any to create a new path for yourself.
A Note about Spring Flavors
When we create our spring kombucha lineup, we think about all the flavors of the season. We want to include these flavors in our drinks. Spring is a time of renewal so our fruit heavy flavors this season pair well with the crisp air and the warming weather. Whether you enjoy these drinks at a party outside or have a glass inside at night, summer will come to mind with every sip.
Cardamom Pear
While playing card games with my neighbor, they brought out some cardamom seeds grown right from their garden in Brimfield. I’ve never tried cardamom before, and when I decided to blend a little with some pear, I fell in love right then and there. The complex flavor of the seed complements many fruits, and we believe it makes quite a pair with pear! See what I did there?
At Bucha Bros, we believe this flavor is best enjoyed with friends. It’s perfect for a Spring afternoon, by a campfire, or during any social activity. Enjoy it anytime!
Always brewed with organic pear and organic cardamom. For the color of our label, we’ve already used shades of green for our cinnamon apple (Fall) and mint flavors (Winter), so we wanted a color that go well with the color of pears and cardamoms. A light greenish beige ended up being the best choice for us, and we hope you think so too!
Blueberry Lemon
Lemonade is the first thing that comes to our mind when we think about Spring. Lemonade is one of those drinks that is very popular during the Spring and Summertime, even the neighborhood kids are trying to sell it!
You can create many fruit infusions with lemon, and the combinations feel endless. Kombucha has a tangy taste. The sweet, fruity flavor of blueberries pairs so well with the natural kombucha tang and the citrus flavor of organic lemons!
The flavor is brewed using only organic blueberries and organic lemons. We find this drink goes well during a hot Spring day and is perfect to enjoy after some intense yard work.
What other color perfectly fits blueberry other than blue? It was an easy choice for us to make for the label design. Blue can take on many meanings. For the Springtime, it means looking up at the vast blue sky, and represents happiness.
Honey Chamomile
We always want to have a refreshing herbal beverage and Spring has given us plenty of options, after all it is the time for flowers and herbs to start blooming! Our Lavender flavor from the Fall was one of our favorites, so we chose another flower for this season’s lineup.
The flavor of Chamomile tea is a delicate one, and we find the flavor and sweetness of honey compliments it well. Used during the second fermentation stage of kombucha brewing, we use real organic chamomile flowers and ferment it with organic honey. Enjoy during a brisk walk through a field of flowers, or on a walking trail during a refreshing Spring day, or perhaps while relaxing on the porch or on a Spring afternoon. We hope you enjoy this flavor as much as we do!
The color yellow is perfect for our Honey Chamomile flavor, as both chamomile flowers and honey are vibrant yellow in color. We had to make the label dark enough not to lose detail in our design, as well as be readable. Yellow is bright and warming like the Sun in the sky, and we believe it works well for our label as well.

Bucha Bros is mighty excited to share our very first Spring with you all.
